Parliament plays a key role in Ghana’s fiscal governance through its oversight of budgets, tax policy, and public spending. Strengthening this role is critical to addressing illicit financial flows (IFFs) and promoting fair and transparent tax systems.

Strengthening the capacity of Parliamentarians, particularly members of the African Parliamentary Network on Illicit Financial Flows and Taxation (APNIFFT) in Ghana, is therefore critical.

The Network for Women’s Rights in Ghana, in collaboration with the Tax Justice Network Africa and in partnership with Parliament through APNIFFT, is convening a one-day residential training workshop on International Tax Cooperation, IFFs, and gender-responsive fiscal policies.
